As you can tell, if you've been here before, I ravamped the look of the site a little. I guess I was getting bored with the yellow background/black lettering setup. There's a poll in the left sidebar, let me know what you think of it.

The Thrashers signed second year defenseman, Tobias Enstrom to a 4-year extension. The Thrashers' hopes of making the playoffs are now pinned on Kovalchuk, Enstrom, and new 1st-line center/owner of the abandoned Penguins #16 jersey hanging in my closet, Erik Christensen.

Nicklas Lidstrom got hit in the face by a puck during the Wings/Habs preseason game last night. The puck didn't hit him cleanly, it rolled up the shaft of his stick, then struck him in the face, apparently opening an already existing cut. There was blood, Lidstrom left the game. Apparently he didn't take any lessons from Bugsy during the Finals last season.

"Lotta good that broken nose did me, huh?"
